HydroMat and HydroTube Feeder Specifications
With feed cost accounting for approximately sixty percent of the cost of swine production, it makes sense to invest in a feeder that will keep feed waste to a minimum. AP Hydro series feeders provide excellent feed efficiency and the added benefit of dramatic water savings to help lower the cost of effluent disposal.

Hydromat Adjuster
Hydromat feeders are equipped with a convenient indexed adjustment system that provides exact control of feed flow.

Feed Saver
Hydromat and Hydrotube feeder troughs feature a feed saver lip to prevent feed from being raked out of the feeder.

HydroMat Feeders
Hydromat feeders are equipped with a durable plastic hopper which provides storage for up to 90 lbs. of feed and easy access for hand feeding of bagged starter feeds. An optional hopper cover insures feed freshness and aides in dust control.

AP HydroTube Feeders
Hydrotube Feeders are equipped with 4" feed tubes to provide seventy percent more feed storage than competitor's 3" tubes. This additional capacity greatly decreases the number of feed system run cycles required to keep the feeders filled. The feed tubes are available in either white or clear PVC extruded in our factory from specially formulated resin with impact modifiers to prevent feed tube breakage.

HydroTube Adjuster
An easy to operate adjuster crank gives precise control of feed flow in increments of 1/32" up to 2" maximum. A convenient indicator gives the actual opening between the feeder pan and the tube outlet.

Narrow gate rod spacing
Wean to finish models feature narrowed gate rod spacing, feed dams to prevent slurry buildup in water cups and an adjustable drip nipple to help newly weaned pigs locate water.

Cups and Valves
Hydromat and Hydrotube feeders feature premium quality Aquaglobe valves and smooth easy to clean water pans. Wean to finish models feature an easy to set drop feature (shown) which helps newly weaned pigs quickly locate water at the feeder.

AP-HT603WFC HydroTube Wean to Finish Feeder with Optional Clear Tube		Y-Drops are available for all three HydroTube feeder models.

Wean to finish models feature a narrowed rod spacing on the feeder gate to prevent young pigs from becoming lodged in the feeder.


Gate Rods Feeder gates are constructed of 1/2" solid stainless steel rods inserted through and welded to heavy gauge stainless steel resulting in the strongest tube feeder gate in the industry. Water pipes are easily removed for service and are not used as a structural part of the gate frame.		Spinner Both HydroMat and HydroTube feeders are equipped with a stainless steel agitator that is easily moved by even newly weaned pigs. The spinner limits the need for feeder adjustment and keeps even high fat feed flowing through the feeder.

Feed Hopper Optional 20 pound feed hoppers increase storage capacity and allow for hand feeding of starter feeds in wean to finish applications.		Feed Tube Hydrotube's 4" feed tubes provide 70% more feed holding capacity than competitor's 3" feed tubes. More holding capacity means fewer fill system run cycles. Optional clear tubing allows you to confirm at a glance that the feeding system is functioning correctly.
